Specials at our Tritonville Bar & Terrace

Food is served all day in our Tritonville Bar & Terrace with a wide range of dishes on the menu, and we have now added a "Feel Like a Snack" option! Drop in and enjoy a coffee or tea with a muffin or scone in the relaxed atmosphere of our bar or outside on the terrace for just €5.

If you need something more substantial, we are also offering soup of the day plus a freshly cut sandwich deal for €8. Our soups include vegetable, tomato & basil, carrot & coriander and sweet potato. Our sandwiches come with a choice of ham, cheese, tomato, beef, chicken, and salad on white or brown bread with the option to have your sambo toasted.

Or why not try our new Early Bird Special and enjoy a starter, main course and tea or coffee for just €16. The Early Bird Menu, which is up on our website if you'd like to take a look, is available from Monday to Saturday between 3pm and 7pm.

Easter Sunday Lunch

We are offering a 3 course lunch at our Cordyline Restaurant on Easter Sunday for €25 per person including freshly brewed tea or coffee. The kids menu is €6.50, and with every adult meal you'll get a child's meal free! To book just give us a call on 01 614 2000.

We will also be holding an Easter Egg Hunt at 3.30pm in our private gardens, along with Piñatas from 1.00pm!

On the Menu for St Patrick's Day

For St Patrick's Day tomorrow Mount Herbert Hotel is serving Irish coffees, Baileys coffees, and hot whiskeys at €5 each, and Irish stew or bacon, cabbage and mashed potato at €10.95 in our Tritonville Bar & Terrace.

Grand Canal Theatre

The 2,111 seat Grand Canal Theatre is opening this month with the sold-out Swan Lake. A couple of us from Mount Herbert Hotel got to take a look around the brand new purpose built theatre last week - the facilities are fantastic and there is a great view from the building. Upcoming events include everything from the opera La Boheme and the musical Hairspray to singer Ronan Keating.

Grand Canal Theatre is very handy to get to from Mount Herbert Hotel by DART - we are just a couple of minutes walk from Lansdowne DART Station and the theatre is just one stop away at Grand Canal Dock.

St Patrick's Day Dublin

St Patrick's Day is just over a week away, with St Patrick's Festival starting this Friday! Events include comedy, theatre, music, dancing and, of course, the parade.

Paul McCartney is coming to the RDS (just a few minutes walk away from Mount Herbert Hotel) on Saturday 12th June as part of his Up and Coming Tour. Tickets go on sale Monday 8th March at 9am.
